![]() ![]() My current understanding is that I have to program HMAC1 “slot 1 - #130” for HMAC1 protocol before KeePassXC will recognise the OnlyKey as a Yubikey for Challenge response purposes. Then I tried using onlykey-cli by running the following command progressions (I performed a full reset and firmware reload using the most recent firmware release between each failed attempt, just to be sure), making sure to Ctrl+D to exit interacting mode before closing the terminal: I tried a few more times but it didn’t work. I counted the characters, it was in fact 64. It simply said “ needs to be 64 characters”. I used the product from this command where I mention below.įirst I tried using the GUI OnlyKey App, by selecting the HMACSHA1 (slot 1 - #130), and inserting a into the “private key” box. Note: I have been generating hex key passwords using the command: I set up my OnlyKey as standard, with a Primary PIN, Secondary PIN, Backup passphrase, and Self-Destruct PIN, and then followed all of the different HMACSHA1 setup methods in the User Guide and forum discussions. I suppose what this issue is asking for is a "merge by default" behavior which would be trivial to add to the existing autoreload code.Hi, I’m trying to set up my OnlyKey for use as a Hardware Password Manager, but I’m having trouble getting KeePassXC to recognise the OnlyKey for Challenge-Response purposes. # 93 merges if there are unsaved changes to the database. Function(Database merge) is already available in KeepassXC. Would be nice if that is handled the same way as in Keepass2Android. Recommendation before reconnecting make a backup of the windows side and make a manual database merge. Data loss of new edited entries in windows possibleĭuring longer downtime KeepassXC needs a manual merge database if entries were changed on both sides. KeepassXC just loads new Database (if windows was disconnected).Keepass2Android asks to merge entries or reload database (if android was disconnected).Just tested what happens with my sync combination, when there is a disconnection time while directly accessing dropbox file.Ĭase: change happend simultanously on windows (KeepassXC) and on Android (Keepass2Android) Even if only an unimportant note/favicon/url entry is changed Just beware that an entry change is any change to an entry. It should only update and import the latest entry changes instead of a complete file overwrite by Syncthing. This would even merge two Databases that have different entry changes. Or instead of keeshare a manual "merge from Database" (just over import/export menu point ) Alternatively keeshare could be tried out with a master file. Recommendation syncing should be done one way if done manually. Keepass2Android is set to check if the file is modified externally before an entry change. KeepassDX looks a bit nicer, but Keepass2Android is a good alternative and seems more mature.Ĭurrently "live" syncing with Keepass2Android (over dropbox KP2A-Folder) and having that file opened with KeepassXC (and have the setting active that the file gets reloaded on change). Otherwise "sync" seemed to work fine too. No biggy, since it was just tried out between file copies. When i tried Android/Windows sync (over dropbox), KeepassDX seems to have deleted/cleared "additional urls" after updating an auto-fill entry. ![]()
